Reading the Facebook comments regarding Elementary’s decision to cast Lucy Liu was quite possibly the worst decision I have made all week.

My issue is not that Watson’s female - that’s awesome. It’s that because it’s an American show, the male!Holmes/female!Watson dynamic will be nothing but sexytimes. Not in the good way. Also, making Watson not a soldier is a big mistake.
